An overview of Social Media

Using social media for your business.

Social Media has become more popular than ever! It’s the new word of mouth for business and individuals. Many companies use Facebook to communicate with their employees and clients.

More businesses are using mobile messaging to communicate more than ever before, with 3.6 billion people are on social media world wide. However, each platform has something different to offer. Regardless of which platform you use, one of them is likely to become your favorite. Some of the most popular platforms are Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Facebook allows users to create profiles, connect with friends and family, share photos, videos, and updates, and engage with content through comments, likes, and shares. It also offers various features such as groups, events, marketplace, and pages for businesses and public figures. Facebook has expanded its services through acquisitions, including Instagram and WhatsApp.

Twitter

Twitter is a microblogging and social networking service created in 2006. It enables users to post and read short messages called “tweets” of up to 280 characters. Twitter allows users to follow other accounts, and tweets can be liked, retweeted, and replied to. It is known for its real-time nature, making it a popular platform for news, trends, and discussions. Twitter has been used by individuals, organizations, and public figures to share updates, express opinions, and engage with a global user base.
