Intro to Social Media

With COVID-19, Social Media has become more popular than ever. It's the new word of mouth for business and be an excellent way to communicate. Some companies use Facebook to communicate with their employees and clients. In light of the pandemic, more businesses are using mobile messaging to communicate more than ever. 3.6 billion people are on social media world wide. However, each platform has something different to offer. Regardless of which platform you use, one of them is likely to become your favorite. Some of the most popular platforms are Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Facebook

This platform can be used for personal use to communicate with family and friends. It can be used for business purposes like building your customer community, sharing your products and company updates. You can share text, video, pictures, and a story (text/images), which will disappear after 24 hours.

Instagram

Instagram or you may hear it being called "IG" is a more visual-based platform. You can also use this platform for your business and setup your online store directly on this platform. You can share images with captions, reels, and stories. Stories last 24 hours and then disappear.

Twitter

Twitter is a bit different. Your statuses are limited to 140 characters. You can still share videos, images, and stories like Instagram and Facebook.
